Amee Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a General Laborer – Shipboard to join our Team in Norfolk, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting the various shipboard trades, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. A Shipboard General Labor preforms multi tasks including fire watch, driver and cable pulling.
May perform simple repairs on machinery.
Transports materials, tools, and equipment to and within work sites as required.
Position Requirements:
US Citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Base Access.
Must be able to pass a background check.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of marine/maritime related experience.
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
Ability to work aboard ships which includes frequent climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Must have a Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Must pass drug screening as a condition of employment.
