Location: Norfolk, VA (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Compensation: $40–$64 per hour (1099, depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support mission-driven digital product development in a collaborative Agile/Dev Sec Ops  environment. This role requires hands-on experience building modern, containerized applications using contemporary front-end and back-end frameworks.

The ideal candidate thrives in a balanced product team environment and is comfortable designing scalable microservices architectures, implementing REST APIs, and deploying cloud-native applications.

Experience delivering digital products within a DoD or national defense environment

Experience building applications aligned to 12-Factor App methodology

Experience in pair programming or balanced product teams

Experience rapidly learning and implementing new frameworks and tools

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Build containerized applications aligned to 12-Factor principles

Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architectures

Develop both front-end and back-end components of enterprise applications

Perform database design and optimization

Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/Open Shift

Contribute to Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and Data Scientists

Participate in Agile ceremonies and iterative product releases

Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and automation best practices

4+ years of front-end development experience (React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks)

4+ years of back-end development experience (Node.js, Django/Flask, Spring Boot, or similar)

4+ years of database design and programming experience (MySQL, Postgre

SQL, Mongo

DB, etc.)

Experience designing and implementing REST APIs

Experience working within Microservices Architecture

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift

Experience working in Agile teams and delivering iterative releases

Experience supporting Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD pipelines

High proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Hourly rate: $40–$64 per hour, based on experience and technical depth
