ResidentialCoach
The purpose of the Residential Coach position is to provide direct care supervision and welfare of clients while ensuring safety, protection of their human rights in accordance with agency policies and procedures. This involves building therapeutic relationships with residents and being involved in their programming and treatment goals. We also offer a career ladder for this position, so you have the opportunity to grow as a leader within this industry.
Duties- Build trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients to facilitate motivation to change and to trust that the Treatment Plan is desirable and productive.
- Monitor, supervise, and guide clients to ensure safety, support, and behavioral management.
- Accurately document clients’ behavior, staff interventions, and outcomes to communicate engagement.
We have remarkable outcomes with our residents and operate with a 4:1 staff‑to‑resident ratio. We offer extensive programming including life skills, soft skills, recreational therapy, group therapy, and fun outings. CPR and First Aid training are provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is available for full‑time employees.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with at least six months of experience working with children/adolescents in a mental‑health setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related degrees:
Psychology, School Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Sociology, Child Development, Behavioral Sciences, Art Therapy, Education, Early Childhood Development, Nursing, Gerontology, Child & Family Studies, Community Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy, Music Therapy, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Recreation (per QMHP approved degree list).
Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Off every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
- Friday/Monday: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (evening differential each hour worked)
- Saturdays & Sundays: alternates each week between day shift (7:00 am – 2:30 pm) and evening shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm) (weekend differential each hour worked)
This alternate work schedule is considered full‑time and eligible for full‑time benefits.
