Job Duties- Repairs, restores, and makes minor repairs to various types of building infrastructure systems including windows, frames, baseboards, interior molding, walls, door frames, etc.
- Ensures all maintenance efforts are in compliance with city and state code, and agency regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance, inspects building infrastructures; creates photographic documentation.
- Cleans roof drains, removes debris, and performs general carpentry tasks as assigned.
- Reads schematics, blueprints and various structure diagrams in efforts to ascertain the status and efforts needed in repairing/maintaining various infrastructures.
- Climbs ladders and performs routine inspections.
- Works independently on assignments of various scale.
- Utilizes tools, including hammers, power tools, ladders, measuring tape, mixing machines, electric saws, and other construction industry tools.
- Interfaces effectively, both verbally and in writing, and provides quality customer service.
- Responds to emergencies, both before and after business hours.
- Must be able to occasionally lift objects up of 50 pounds unassisted.
- Work requires knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training related to Carpentry.
- Experience utilizing tools, including hammers, power tools, ladders, measuring tape, mixing machines, electric saws, and other construction industry tools.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
- Vocational certification and/or military experience in the carpentry field.
