Position Overview

The HVAC Service Technician will service and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, primarily in commercial storefront environments throughout the Hampton Roads area. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team committed to delivering top‑tier customer service and technical excellence.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues efficiently.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
• Service and repair various refrigeration systems as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers and maintain accurate service documentation.

• Hands-on experience with HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on commercial equipment.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems (preferred).

• Ideally 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Refrigeration experience is a strong advantage.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Trade school education, relevant training, or veteran status all considered valuable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Norfolk, VA.
