We are seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team. This position services our customers in Newport News, VA, and the surrounding territory, reporting to our Norfolk branch.

Job Posting ExternalJob Duties
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform all planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after each job completion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Less than 2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate lift trucks safely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines, and ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Technical degree, lift truck repair experience, welding skills, and familiarity with testing equipment are preferred.
- Experience with tools such as hand tools, electrical/air tools, torches, arc welders, and testing devices.
- Industry-specific training is advantageous.
- Ability to read service manuals, plan, and execute tasks efficiently.
