Rainbow International of Norfolk is expanding! We are hiring a Restoration Content Packing/Cleaning Technician Assistant to become part of our team. As an entry-level restoration/content technician assistant, you will work closely with a Lead Technician. You will gain knowledge and experience in the field, with opportunities for certifications and promotions.
We seek individuals with the right attitude and focus to get results. Our team provides fast, reliable service in the industry. The role involves working as a contents technician and learning mitigation processes, contributing to the mitigation team.
Qualifications & Responsibilities- Attention to detail in cleaning commercial and residential facilities
- Outgoing, positive personality, especially following water or fire damage
- Driver's license held for more than 3 years with a good driving record
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
- Carefully pack items for removal, storage, and restoration, lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ensure packed items are properly logged and scanned
- Perform work promptly and efficiently, including some night and weekend shifts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Onsite packing, wrapping, boxing, and moving items
- Cleaning, deodorizing, and disinfecting property
- Inventory management and labeling
- Driving company vehicles to job sites
- Cross-training within mitigation team
- Attention to detail and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work standing for long periods
- Other duties as assigned
