About the Role

Under the Service General Manager, the HVAC Service Technician delivers expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide range of commercial HVAC systems—including VRF, rooftop units, and packaged equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve issues on commercial HVAC systems; perform preventive maintenance and fine‑tune performance for energy efficiency and reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing service concerns, recommending improvements, and delivering high‑quality communication and support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling, follow‑up, and accurate completion of service reports, work orders, and related documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and keep personal tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Stay up to date through ongoing technical training and serve as a resource and mentor to junior technicians.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements as outlined by OSHA, the company, and customer sites.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours emergency support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the team and company.
Experience & Requirements
  • 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience with VRF, rooftop units, and packaged equipment.
  • EPA Universal Certification required; OEM‑specific training or certifications preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and system‑scripting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass background and drug screening.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50–100 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces and on rooftops.
  • Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation.
