Job DescriptionComplete all assigned flooring work orders that include, but are not limited to, ordering or replacing flooring materials, basic carpentry, door thresholds, carpet, LVT, linoleum, tile, and VCT flooring repair. Provide excellent customer service to any and all parties involved with the execution of assigned tasks. Always complete all tasks in a clean and professional manner while adhering to the University’s code of ethics and Service Standards.
Qualifications- Considerable knowledge of flooring installation and repair work in an institutional setting.
- Considerable knowledge of carpenter and building work methods and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions, and to read blueprints, interpret specifications.
- Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
- Considerable experience performing maintenance and repair of flooring systems in a light commercial institutional setting.
Facilities Management employees are considered essential personnel and subject to working during university closings.
