What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a financial services location.

* Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter doors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.

* Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.

* Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.

* Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to the oncoming shift and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security experience.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* CPR certification is preferred.

* Alarm panel experience is preferred.

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
