Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 (Full Benefits at Permanent Conversion)
Contract: Est. 6‑Month Contract to Permanent Hire;
Hourly Rate: $61.00 - $70.00 / W2
Immediate Need for a (25% Remote) MECM / Systems Security Engineer supporting one of our largest DoD / Government clients on the East Coast & Nationwide.
Responsibilities- Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in a modern environment.
- Perform 60% of work on the packaging side: take the STIG and package it in the platform for deployment.
- Manage the full lifecycle of software packaging (testing, networking, etc.).
- Create and maintain Windows OS and STIG (security update & deployment) packages.
- Use AutoIT for tooling and complete a 2‑week training course.
- Learn quickly and adapt on the job.
- Use JIRA (higher priority) and SVN.
- Work in a network environment, hooking up to Cisco switches, establishing the operating environment, and performing routing/switching without delegation.
- Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility).
- Experience using MECM, SCCM, or similar for software packaging (Windows OS & STIGs).
- Experience scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or similar).
