Mil-Spec Abrasives provides high-performance surface preparation and specialty solutions to industrial, military, marine, and commercial clients. Our products are trusted in demanding environments where quality, compliance, and reliability are critical.

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to grow and support our customer base for Mil-Spec Abrasives and newly-acquired Pre Tox products. This role focuses on developing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical product guidance related to surface preparation applications. The ideal candidate has experience in surface preparation, coatings, abrasives, or related industrial markets and is comfortable traveling to support customers and attend industry events.

• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers within assigned territory
• Promote and sell Mil-Spec Abrasives and Pre Tox products to industrial, military, marine, and commercial clients
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate surface preparation solutions
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and on-site customer visits
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, specifications, and surface preparation standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer requirements and ensure satisfaction
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates as required
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed

• Preferred experience or knowledge in surface preparation , abrasives, coatings, blasting, or related industrial field
• Proven sales experience, preferably in industrial, military, or technical product environments
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
• Must be located in or around Norfolk, VA
• Must have a Valid driver's license

• Familiarity with military, shipyard, marine, or industrial specifications
• Experience selling technical or engineered products
• Existing industry relationships in the Mid-Atlantic or defense/marine markets
