As a Marine Account Executive candidate, you’d have strong relationship building skills to go along with 3 or more years of maritime and/or government related sales experience. You should be familiar with maritime terminology and have a basic understanding on the shipbuilding and ship repair industry. You’d also be willing to represent Tradesmen at local industry association events and do a great job at adapting to various social environments.
You should also have the ability to work within a specialized team which may include, but not limited to, workforce coordinators, project coordinators, an inside sales counterpart, and reporting to Marine sales leadership. You will demonstrate the ability to have lead accountability of the growth of your quad-regional territory. Proficiency using technology, including a smart phone, tablet, CRM software and Office 365 would be a definite plus.

- Create and grow sales by meeting with key decision makers and managing key accounts.

Job Requirements /Basic Qualifications
The Marine Account Executive must have the ability to work in a high-energy team environment, be self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record. A "team player" attitude is expected. We find that individuals who have a true passion for sales and are commission-driven are the Marine AE’s who top the income charts.
- Proven sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
- 3+ years of maritime and/or government related sales experience
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software and smart phone/laptop computer
- Up to 25-50% Travel expectation.
