We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fellow fans find their favorite merchandise. You’ll also assist in training new team members and support daily store operations to meet sales goals.

What You'll Do

Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills.

Assist in managing store operations, stepping in to lead when necessary.

Open and close the store as needed, handling store keys responsibly.

Process sales transactions at the register, promoting add-on sales and utilizing store services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.

Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT.

Assist with visual merchandising and store layout updates.

Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.

Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security.

Maintain organized stockrooms and a tidy store environment.

Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team.

Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally with a passion for music and pop culture.
Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
