- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience (cardiac monitoring / ECG experience)
- BLS certification (required)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Monitor and assess patients on the Telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation
- Administer medications and treatments safely and as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition; escalate and initiate appropriate interventions
