Position Type:  Locum tenens (travel/contract Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opportunity)

End Date:  May 2, 2026

Duration:  17 weeks

Shifts:

8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available, based on team needs

Shifts per Week:  5

Hours per Week:  36

On-Site Position

Call Requirement:  Open to weeknight and/or weekend call (1:10 rotation)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Qualifications

Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification

Eligible for CRNA licensure in Virginia

Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in an acute care or hospital setting

Proficiency in general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia techniques

Experience with adult anesthesia cases required; pediatric anesthesia experience preferred

Ability to manage ventilation and perform insertion of central and/or arterial lines

Willingness to participate in call rotation

CRNA Responsibilities

Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, spine, vascular (excluding open heart), neurosurgical (spine), complex orthopedic, and obstetrical cases

Provide anesthesia care primarily for adult patients; pediatric anesthesia cases preferred but not required

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care

Conduct preoperative assessments and deliver postoperative anesthesia care as needed

Manage ventilation and perform insertion of central and/or arterial lines

Participate in weeknight and/or weekend call rotation (1:10)
