October 12, 2025 - Contract Duration: 9 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1770 - $1820
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience in Medicine, Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, or IDD units is a plus
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for Telemetry patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
