Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Memory Care - Day Shift - Part Time

Overview

Care for residents in Memory Care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), LPN/LVN, or Director of Memory Care. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on dignity and quality of life.

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report them to a supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents; provide skin care.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care; provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support; promote and protect resident rights and independence; maintain confidentiality.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
