Hiring 6GR Welders

Labor One Staffing is looking for skilled Welders for the Ingleside, TX area
. Welders to build and repair large structures and platforms. Most fabrication will be done with Flux core. Must pass a 6GR skill test.

• Read blueprints and drawings or read plan measurements and follow layouts and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components of welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with power saws to match measurements).
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Verify your work that welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and skills.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (FCAW, STICK, etc.)
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing and PPE (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Experience using cutting tools.
• Ability to measure and cut materials
• Pass 6GR Test
• Must be willing to work in heights and confined spaces.

• Open root 1/8 in, root face 1/16in (single
  -bevel)
• Gas: 75%
  Ar-25%
  CO2
• Must pass Physical and UA.
