Position Summary:
HuntleighUSA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time and Full-Time Janitors for AM and PM shifts at Norfolk International Airport (ORF). This role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary airport facilities for passengers and staff. On-the-spot offers available for qualified candidates.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and disinfecting of offices
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting surfaces and furniture
- Emptying trash cans
- Cleaning jet bridges, stairways, and gate areas
- Maintaining overall cleanliness and order in assigned areas
- Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10-20 pounds or more, with or without accommodations
- High school diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a reliable telephone number for contact
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as required (DOT or Non-DOT) and submit to random testing requirements
- Morning (AM) and Afternoon/Evening (PM) shifts available
- Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
