Job Description
  • Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching.
  • Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to management.
  • Collaborate with other staff to complete projects on time and to specifications.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance painting skills.
Requirements
  • Basic working knowledge of painting practices and applications.
  • Ability to make minor wall repairs.
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with insurable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of painting techniques and tools.
Conditions of Employment

Facilities Management employees are considered essential personnel and subject to working during university closings.

Salary

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
