Job Description- Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching.
- Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to management.
- Collaborate with other staff to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance painting skills.
- Basic working knowledge of painting practices and applications.
- Ability to make minor wall repairs.
- Valid Virginia driver's license with insurable driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of painting techniques and tools.
Facilities Management employees are considered essential personnel and subject to working during university closings.
SalarySalary commensurate with education and experience.
