Position: 4 Welders J4

Location:

Norfolk, Virginia

Hours:

0600 to 1445 with a 45 min lunch

Shift: ALL
Security Clearance:
No Clearance

• Knowledge of welding on different types of base metals (HY-80 & HY-100).
• Knowledge of different wire and gas combinations.
• Proficiency in using SMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding processes.
• Quality of weld acceptable for N.D.T. and ability to weld steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, and stainless steel.
• Ability to read weld gauges.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Some guidance from supervision will be needed.
• Must know standard Item 1689 and the 5S guidelines.
