Job Summary

We are seeking a mission-focused HCL Domino Systems Administrator to support 24/7/365 operations, maintenance, and sustainment of enterprise-level messaging systems enabling global fleet operations and communications. This role involves administering secure messaging environments across classified and unclassified networks while ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational readiness.

This position is contingent upon funding.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and administer enterprise HCL Domino (formerly IBM/Lotus Domino) infrastructure across multiple secure networks
  • Provide Tier I, II, and III service desk and systems administration support to a global user base, including afloat and ashore commands
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize messaging system performance, including mail routing and replication
  • Perform system installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance in accordance with DoD security standards
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and storage allocations
  • Administer remote user access and maintain mail databases, calendars, address books, and folders
  • Support hardware/software upgrades and troubleshoot complex system and networking issues
  • Participate in major Fleet, Joint, and Coalition exercise planning and execution
  • Maintain system security posture by implementing IA controls, conducting vulnerability scans, and responding to alerts
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience administering HCL Domino / IBM Lotus Domino environments, including mail routing and replication
  • Experience supporting Collaboration at Sea or similar DoD programs
  • Experience providing Tier I–III support
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline
  • Active Secret clearance (some positions may require TS/SCI)
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, or relevant HCL/Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with DoD/DON processes and tools (eMASS, VRAM, RMF, STIG implementation)
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
  • Experience in DoD Network Operations Centers (NOC), Maritime Operations Centers (MOC), or afloat naval environments
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience supporting Dev Sec Ops  environments and CI/CD pipelines
Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required
