Job Summary

We are seeking a mission-driven HCL Domino Systems Administrator to support 24/7/365 operations, maintenance, and sustainment of enterprise-level messaging systems supporting global fleet and communications operations. This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing messaging environments across classified and unclassified networks.
This position is contingent upon funding.

What You Will Do
  • Administer and manage enterprise HCL Domino (formerly IBM/Lotus Domino) infrastructure across secure networks
  • Provide Tier I, II, and III service desk and systems administration support to a global user base, including afloat and ashore commands
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize email routing and replication to maintain peak system performance and availability
  • Perform system installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance in compliance with DoD security standards
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations
  • Support remote messaging access and maintain mail databases, calendars, folders, and address books
  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades and troubleshoot complex system and networking issues
  • Participate in major Fleet, Joint, and Coalition exercise support activities
  • Maintain security posture by implementing IA controls, conducting vulnerability scans, and responding to security alerts
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience administering HCL Domino / IBM Lotus Domino environments, including mail routing and replication
  • Experience supporting Collaboration at Sea or similar DoD programs
  • Experience providing Tier I–III technical support
  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
  • Active Secret clearance (some roles may require TS/SCI eligibility)
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, or relevant HCL/Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with DoD/DON tools and processes (eMASS, VRAM, RMF, STIG implementation)
  • Proficiency in automation scripting (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
  • Experience working in DoD Network Operations Centers (NOC), Maritime Operations Centers (MOC), or supporting afloat naval units
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience supporting Dev Sec Ops  environments and CI/CD pipelines
Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required
