Position Title: Nuclear Consultation Command & Control (NC3) Coordination Support Secretariat
Location: Norfolk, VA (On-Site)
Pay Rate: $44–$60 per hour (Based on experience)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a cleared professional to support the Nuclear Consultation, Command and Control (NC3) Modernization Programme — one of the largest and most complex modernization efforts within NATO’s capability development portfolio.
This role provides direct coordination and Secretariat support to senior leadership overseeing portfolio, programme, and project activities. The selected candidate will help maintain comprehensive visibility of programme planning and execution while ensuring effective collaboration across multinational stakeholders.
This is a high-visibility coordination and knowledge management role requiring strong organizational discipline, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience in structured programme environments.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Programme Director in maintaining comprehensive oversight of programme and project planning and execution
- Configure and administer key programme documentation repositories
- Manage and coordinate Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) tools including SharePoint, EDMS, and collaborative platforms
- Support stakeholder engagement and communications across multiple defense and multinational organizations
- Assist with cross-functional coordination across programme branches and processes
- Support management and coordination of programme-related meetings
- Maintain task tracking tools and reporting mechanisms
- Coordinate onboarding and induction support for new staff (training coordination, account access, equipment coordination)
- Develop MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for reporting and communication
- Perform additional administrative and coordination tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD SECRET clearance (or higher)
- Associate degree or higher
- Demonstrable experience in administration and management (e.g., information and knowledge management, event coordination, HR support, or similar functions)
- Experience working within multinational, international, or defense/security-related organizations
- Experience supporting activities within a Portfolio, Programme, or Project Management environment
- High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative software tools
- Experience supporting multinational or NATO-aligned environments
- Experience with in common-funded or structured defense programme environments
- Strong documentation control and governance experience
- Familiarity with structured reporting, executive-level coordination, and stakeholder engagement
