You'll work with advanced technologies like Next Gen 911, CAD, LMR, First Responder Broadband, and mass notification platforms to ensure first responders stay connected when it matters most. By integrating these capabilities into the Unified Network, you'll help deliver secure, reliable, and coordinated incident response across U.S. installations worldwide. Your work matters. * Own the schedule:
Build and manage project timelines to keep deployments on track.
* Drive success:
Ensure requirements are met and maintain clear documentation.
* Lead coordination:
Partner with stakeholders for site surveys, installations, training, and logistics.
* Solve challenges:
Identify risks early, troubleshoot issues, and keep projects moving forward.
* Engineer excellence:
Apply best practices and contribute to system design and documentation.
* Inspire teams:
Provide oversight, mentor staff, and support hiring and development.
* Other duties may be assigned, this position usually reports to a Program Manager. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 7-10 years of working experience as a Project Manager with experience in technical or deployment environment/Defense Contractor.
* High School Diploma/GED, associate degree is preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and timelines.
* Financial Management

Experience:

Support program financials by contributing to budget planning, tracking expenditures for modernization activities, and ensuring contract‑compliant, audit‑ready documentation across all deployment and sustainment efforts.
* This role requires up to 50% travel, remote telework opportunities will be based on customer requirements and the ability to provide onsite support for a minimum of 3 days per week, each week. Onsite days in Virginia Beach, Virginia office may increase to provide onsite support up to 5 days per week to support the needs of the customer. Exact days in office and at the customer site must be coordinated with customer and approved by your Serco manager.

* Active Secret clearance with the ability to be upgraded to a Top Secret DOW security clearance with SCI Eligibility which requires U.S. Citizenship and a successful background check to include fingerprint checks and drug screenings. Additional desired experience and skills:
* Experience with Next Gen 911 (NG911), Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Land Mobile Radio (LMR), or similar emergency communication systems.
* Familiarity with network integration and Unified Network/Common Transport Layer concepts.
* Knowledge of systems engineering principles, including design reviews and solution documentation.
* Background in risk management, troubleshooting hardware/software deployments, and quality control processes.
* Experience with technical team leadership, including mentoring and performance management.
* Certified Internet Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
