Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) IT - Software
Norfolk, VA (On/Off-Site)
Required Qualifications- At least 12 years of experience in system administration or related field within DoD/Navy programs
- Extensive knowledge of system administration principles and practices, particularly in managing complex, global IT systems
- Knowledgeable on the core AWS services related to permissions and networking and how they interact
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Current Security+ certification is required
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing full system lifecycle processes
- SAFe Agilist (SA) certification or higher
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with naval maintenance and modernization systems or similar complex DoD programs
- Experience with deploying and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like AWS Cloud Formation
- AWS certification
- Windows or RHEL certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance administration of legacy systems and new technology integration
- Advanced SAFe certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Dev Ops Practitioner
- Proficiency in administering both legacy systems and modern, web-based applications
- Experience in managing systems across multiple operating systems and technology platforms
- Knowledge of relevant DoD and Navy standards for system security and administration
- Expertise in virtualization, cloud technologies, and automation tools
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements for DoD systems
