Description

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Concord Hospitality, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of our hotel by managing guest billing, resolving inquiries, and ensuring timely processing of receivables. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent guest service will contribute to both financial accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and billing disputes to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Research and resolve charge inquiries in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and post daily receivables from event contracts; balance totals to the General Ledger.
  • Perform all month-end responsibilities, including preparing reports and managing outstanding balances.
  • Review final statements for accuracy; make corrections and distribute contracts or folios to clients promptly.
  • Coordinate and verify receiving tickets, purchase orders, and invoices for proper coding and approvals.
  • Prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Answer guest service calls and complete telephone request forms and follow-up correspondence via email, fax, or mail.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and accounting software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage guest relations with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with solid mathematical and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections is preferred.
