Position OverviewUnder the direction of a qualified physician, the Ultrasonographer independently performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring a high degree of technical skill, accuracy, and professional judgment.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform standard gynecologic ultrasound examinations
- Conduct 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound assessments of female pelvic organs and the pelvic floor, based on clinical indication
- Perform Pelvic Floor Ultrasound (PFUS) examinations, including:
- Perineal PFUS
- Introital PFUS
- Endovaginal ultrasound (EVUS) (Additional training will be provided for candidates without prior PFUS experience)
- Associate degree or successful completion of a radiologic technology program and a medical sonography program
- ARRT and/or ARDMS registration in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience
- Pelvic Floor Ultrasound experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates
