Job Description
Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed Audiologist to provide K-12 screening and audiology services within a school district in the Virginia Beach area. This role offers the unique chance to establish and lead a comprehensive audiology program previously managed by an external clinic, requiring strong initiative and clinical expertise.
Location- Virginia Beach area, VA
- Itinerant position with travel between multiple schools
- Assignment duration:
Immediate start through June 16, 2026
- Conduct hearing assessments and audiology evaluations with K-12 students across assigned schools
- Develop and implement an audiology program tailored to district needs after clinic services were discontinued
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student hearing health
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
- Doctorate in Audiology (PhD) required
- Active and valid Virginia Audiologist license
- Experience with pediatric audiology services preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
