Medical Dosimetrist

Overview

Sentara is hiring a Medical Dosimetrist at the Sentara Brock Cancer Center in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is onsite in Norfolk, Virginia. Relocation packages available!

• Measure and calculate radiation dose and develop the optimum arrangement of radiation fields and exposures to treat the patient under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care.

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Dosimetry or Radiology Technology REQUIRED

• ARRT Certification REQUIRED
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist Certification REQUIRED

• 5 years prior Dosimetrist experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• 5 years Radiation Therapy experience REQUIRED
