A company is looking for a Senior Home Loan Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities Analyze and render home loan lending decisions in compliance with policies and guidelines Review and analyze borrower documentation to determine eligibility and repayment ability Mentor and provide support to other team members while meeting production goals
Required Qualifications High school diploma required;
Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred Minimum of five years of independent mortgage underwriting experience required Preferred certifications include MBA Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) and FHA Direct Endorsement (DE)
Experience with loan origination software and AUS systems is required Knowledge of compliance policies and procedures is essential
