You Will Do
Reporting to the Physician CFO and COO, and working with an HR team, clinical coder, and bookkeeper, you will drive the full spectrum of our financial operations, including:
- Financial Operations & Controls:
Directing daily accounting, general ledger, monthly close, and ensuring robust internal controls and clean audit outcomes. - Budgeting & Strategy:
Leading the annual operating budget process, monitoring variances, and providing critical financial modeling for staffing, site expansions, and operational initiatives. - Revenue Cycle Oversight:
Providing financial oversight of professional fee billing, monitoring key revenue indicators (A/R days, Net Collection Rates), and partnering on revenue integrity. - Physician Compensation:
Supporting the financial processes for physician and APP compensation, including productivity reconciliation and timely provider payments. - Contract Tracking:
Maintaining financial tracking and providing analysis for hospital agreements and payer contracts to support renewals and negotiations. - Leadership:
Supervising and developing the finance, accounting, and related administrative staff, promoting accountability and cross‑training.
- Stable cash flow and revenue accuracy.
- Transparent reporting to our physician leadership.

- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s Degree and/or Accounting Certification preferred. - Experience:
Significant experience in finance or accounting leadership. - Healthcare, physician group, or professional services experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and manage operational finance functions.
- Expertise:
Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle fundamentals, budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting systems, and internal controls.
