CAE has an immediate opening for an Intermediate Logistics - Financial Management Analyst supporting the comptroller office on the USFFC‑NFL Program located at COMNAVSURFLANT site in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities- Develop analyzes and conducts operational research and audits which are reviewed by a higher level analyst prior to submission to management.
- Ensuring OPTAR grants are sent to all activities under COMNAVSURFLANT.
- Ensuring that monthly financials are uploaded from each activity.
- Help with the distribution of the Differences Listings, Unmatched Disbursements (UMD) s, Unliquidated Obligations (ULO) and Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs) to all activities.
- Full financial responsibility for multiple Destroyer, Cruser, and Amphibious vessels.
- Coordinate with CNSL ships on a daily/monthly basis.
- Utilize various systems (e.g. DCAS, One Touch, SABRS and CFMS) to research requisition/financial status.
- Quarterly Validation Review of Requisition s.
- Perform fiscal, accounting and financial management duties.
- Must have a current DoD SECRET clearance.
- Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related Business discipline. - Minimum Experience:
4+ years in Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of military logistics AIS's. - Education Equivalency:
Four years of experience in navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management and financial management (substitute for a bachelor’s degree). - Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
- Must have a general working knowledge of Navy supply, MILSTRIP, and National stock Numbers.
- Understanding of OPTAR funds and BOR messages.
Pay Range: $51,800-$106,200
