An established and growing construction organization is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead complex Design-Build and EPC estimates across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving estimating strategy, managing risk, and delivering accurate, defensible cost proposals that support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities- Lead estimating strategy and oversee full-cycle Design-Build and EPC proposal development
- Manage estimating teams through preconstruction services and workload scheduling
- Drive risk review processes and develop fee, contingency, and escalation recommendations
- Review and approve subcontractor solicitations, bid packages, pricing, bonds, and insurance quotes
- Validate equipment pricing, general conditions, indirect costs, and commercial terms
- Present estimates to internal leadership and external clients with professionalism and credibility
- Oversee joint venture estimate reviews and contract partnering strategies
- Maintain cost history databases and ensure compliance with estimating methodologies
- Review scope documents for gaps/overlaps and validate clarifications and assumptions
- Mentor and train junior estimators and support staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years of direct project estimating experience
- Strong background in Design-Build and EPC project delivery
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, Con Est, and K-base
- Proven ability to think analytically, manage risk, and make sound decisions under deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic leadership in preconstruction
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen
- Confidence presenting estimates to executive teams and clients
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
