Batching Plant Superintendent; Major Bridge & Tunnel Infrastructure Project

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (). We are currently looking for a Batching Plant Superintendent to join our team for a major bridge and tunnel infrastructure project in Virginia, USA (on-site position).

• Project: Large-Scale Bridge and Tunnel Infrastructure Works
• Estimated duration of the position: 12 months
• In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

The Batching Plant Superintendent will be responsible for the full operation, production, quality control, maintenance coordination, and logistics of the on-site concrete batching plant supporting major structural works. The role ensures production aligns with construction schedules while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee full operation and production of the on-site concrete batching plant.
• Plan production activities aligned with the construction schedule.
• Ensure quality control and compliance of concrete mixes with project specifications.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure operational reliability.
• Supervise plant workforce and daily operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate logistics and material supply for uninterrupted production.
• Report directly to Project Management.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day (flexibility required; Saturdays may be required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical background (preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles.
• At least 7+ years of experience in concrete batching plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of concrete production processes and quality standards.
• Experience supporting large infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• English level: C1 (Advanced).
