Location & Eligibility: GDIT is seeking a Navy Global Command and Control - Maritime (GCCS-M) Electronic Tech to help support the MARMC program in Norfolk, Virginia. This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided. Must be a US Citizen.
Job Description: Performs highly complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions. Directs complex engineering tests to collect design data or assist in general research work.
Diagnoses and isolates equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures, and makes necessary repairs. Participates in the development of electronic equipment. Repairs or modifies cables and equipment returned by operational users or by personnel in the associated test and development laboratories. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have supervisory responsibilities. May serve as a team leader.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years specific experience gained in troubleshooting, repair, and assessment of at least one of the following systems:
- AN/USQ-187 GCCS-M 4.1.1
- AN/USQ-172 GCCS-M 4.0
While not required, the more experience gained on these systems may be more advantageous to the government. Other systems include AN/USQ-151 Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT), AN/USQ-152 TBMCS, AN/USQ-188 Radiant Mercury, AN/USQ-208 CANES, Passive Link Tap (PLT).

- AA/AS, 4+ years experience or equivalent
- 4+ years of directly related experience
Compensation & Benefits: The likely hourly rate for this position is between $35.04 - $47.40. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; salary will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
