Position: Estimator with Security Clearance
Estimator

Purpose:

* Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Estimator in our Norfolk, Virginia locations and base of operations.

Job Description:

* Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
* Gather data on labor costs, materials, and other expenditures.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
* Collaborate with project managers to assess risks and potential financial impacts.
* Analyze historical data to improve accuracy of future estimates.
* Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
* Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders and management.
* Stay updated on industry trends and regulations that may affect project costs.

Qualifications:

* Must have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
* Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
* Must have Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Desired

Qualifications:

* Prefer to have the ability to obtain a passport. Security Requirements:
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance to access military facilities, naval shipyards, private shipyards, and naval installations.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a secret security clearance. Travel Requirements:
* Minimum level of travel required: 5%
* If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL . Physical Requirements:
