We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

This role is responsible for managing Electric Distribution Distributed Generation projects. Distributed Generation interconnection projects may include distribution, substation, and fiber components. The Project Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of the project—from initiation through completion—while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal guidelines. Key responsibilities include effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, securing necessary permits, and maintaining strict adherence to project scope, schedule, and cost.

Position has potential to report to all 3 regions.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

• 7-8+ years demonstrated experience in project management, relevant technologies, and in the project area.
• Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
• Strong team building skills.
• Effective negotiating skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Disciplines:
Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above

Project Management Certification preferred.
