Planner Scheduler
The PS must have a minimum of two years of bulk fuel terminal operational experience and possess sufficient computer skills to use client/server applications in a Microsoft Windows environment, including MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; other commercial off the shelf applications, utilities; and custom software to ensure that daily fuel scheduling operations are conducted in an effective and efficient manner.
The PS must be knowledgeable in radio communications, instructions/regulations pertaining to fueling and defueling of military and commercial vessels, applicability of relevant forms used to document such services, and maintain constant communications with NS Norfolk Port Operation and Commercial Tug Services.
It is mandatory for the PS to complete a four-week orientation of DFSP Norfolk fuel operations and terminal configurations.
