** As a Flood Partnerships Advisor, you’ll work closely with Risk Management Authorities (RMAs), local councils, the Environment Agency, and other partners to deliver innovative, collaborative solutions to flooding issues. You’ll represent Anglian Water at local and regional levels, supporting our Strategic Flood Partnerships Manager and helping to identify and deliver partnership funded schemes that benefit and impact the communities we serve.
** Key Responsibilities
** This is a hands on role where you’ll:
* Build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams.
* Lead on local flood investigations and coordinate responses.
* Manage partnership funding projects from design through to delivery.
* Champion Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Nature based Solutions (NbS)
* Support innovative flood resilience projects and multi-benefit schemes.
* Prepare quotes and award work based on the competitive quote process, taking ownership of the procurement related regulation
* Regularly visit site and projects to understand potential risks and issues

* Proven experience in an operational or service-focused environment, or a relevant qualification (HNC/Degree in science, engineering, or related discipline).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong project management and planning abilities.
* Knowledge of flood risk management legislation and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel across the region and work flexibly.
* Comfortable representing Anglian Water in public forums
* Able to take initiative and manage expectations of local partners while we look to resolve local flooding issues in partnerships
* Experience of working in partnership with external stakeholders
