Overview

Mountain Ltd. is looking for an NESC Inspector in the Lincoln City, OR area. Specialties include OSP/ISP engineering, design, permitting, right-of-way and CAD for traditional and wireless telecommunications companies.

Responsibilities
  • The NESC Inspector ensures that all of the client’s underground and aerial facilities meet current NESC standards by auditing NESC inspections and contractor corrections.
  • Manage all imminent danger Priority A condition violations: perform preliminary inspection, identify likely corrections, issue corrections to the approved contractor/engineer/arborist, audit corrections or rework, and report completed corrections.
  • Manage all foreign-owned Pole Transfers (PTs): perform preliminary inspection, determine if a pole is ready for transfer, refer poles not ready for transfer to engineering or other utilities, issue transfers to the approved contractor, audit the completed transfer, and report the completed transfer.
  • Document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically and communicate via email and cellular phone.
Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Computer literacy, multitasking, problem solving, and strong verbal communications.
  • Experience in a technical environment requiring following detailed, complex methods and procedures.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
