Satellite Communications Engineering Support

Required Qualifications- English proficiency at C1 level
- Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field (or 5+ years equivalent vocational experience)
- Minimum 3 years SATCOM experience across UHF/SHF/HF/EHF systems
- Strong expertise in SATCOM architecture, RF engineering, link budgets, modulation/coding, antenna systems
- Familiarity with SDN, DVB-S2/S2X, MIL-STD-188, and SATCOM cybersecurity
- Experience in SATCOM operations and service management (incident/problem handling)
- Prior work in NATO or multinational military environments preferred
- Perform technical assessments of SATCOM networks, terminals, RF systems, and ground infrastructure.
- Support design and definition of SATCOM architectures, including multi‑orbit, MILSATCOM, and COMSATCOM integration.
- Conduct link budget analysis, performance modelling, feasibility studies, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA).
- Develop system‑level requirements, interface control documents, and configuration baselines.
- Contribute to modelling and simulation activities for future SATCOM capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI‑based resource management, optical links, protected waveforms).
- Prepare engineering reports, technical briefings, and stakeholder documentation.
- Coordinate regularly with ACT, ACO, NCIA, and multinational technical teams.
