MH‑53E helicopter.
Hours of Operation- Day Shift – Mon/Fri – 0600‑1430
- Night Shift – Mon/Fri – 1400‑2230
The role supports aircraft maintenance tasks, focusing on damage control and propulsion systems for the MH‑53E helicopter. Key responsibilities include repair of engines, sheet metal, hydraulic, electrical, power‑train, and general mechanical components, as well as applying technical knowledge to resolve moderate‑to‑complex problems.
Job Duties- Repair engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, power‑train, and general mechanical components.
- Provide input to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC), Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD), and recommendations for Maintenance Work Orders (MWO).
- Prioritize workloads and lead teams through complex tasks.
- Maintain aircraft records and logs as required.
- Assist with specialization in sheet‑metal, electrical, avionics, or other aircraft systems disciplines.
- Secret Clearance required
. - Knowledge of ALSS, AMMRL, and corrosion control.
- Extensive troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts for aircraft mechanical components.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory.
- Proficiency with aircraft tools (test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet‑metal brakes and shears).
