Fourth Grade Teacher

Under direction of the Head of School, plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students. Provide a learning environment that supports the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Supervise students in a variety of school related settings. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes. Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and community.

Develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students. Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices. Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.

Participate in extracurricular activities such as school community activities, marketing events, sporting, clubs, and student organizations, as well as Board of Trustee events.

Use feedback from observations and evaluations to improve curriculum, instruction, assessment, and learning environment.

Embrace continuous improvement through goal setting, action steps, professional development, feedback, and reflection.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
