Job Description

The responsibilities for this position would focus on the overall student experience in the PHC living-learning community – including a first-year experience, regular programming for community-building, and orientation events. This is integral to the mission of the College. The position will design and coordinate a variety of programs and events that promote community, engagement, and personal development among Honors students.

Recruitment Requirements
  • Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with prospects, students, and customers and to provide timely, accurate information.
Additional Considerations
  • Considerable experience working with high-achieving student populations in a university setting.
  • Familiarity with event management software and student engagement platforms.
  • Considerable experience designing programs that facilitate first-year transition and community integration.
  • Considerable experience supporting new student onboarding, orientation, or transition programs.
  • Understanding of student development theories and engagement models.
