The Interdisciplinary Studies Department at Old Dominion University invites applicants for a Lecturer of Interdisciplinary Studies to begin in Fall 2026
. This is an annual 10-month appointment. The appointee will teach courses in interdisciplinary research and professional portfolio development and will be responsible for program oversight of the IDS major in Leadership Studies, including internships and program assessment.

QualificationsMinimum required education and/or licenses: Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Leadership Studies, or related field.
Minimum required experience/skills: Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level; demonstrated ability to teach online.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in related field; experience with program coordination, assessment, and/or student advising; experience in professional or administrative leadership.
ResponsibilitiesTeach interdisciplinary research and professional portfolio development; oversee the IDS major in Leadership Studies, including internships and program assessment.
