About the Position
Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiology MD in Richmond, Virginia, 23228!
Seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiology Physician for a Locum-to-Perm opportunity. This role provides support for advanced heart failure patients and includes inpatient, outpatient, and clinic coverage.
Practice Setting:
Inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and call coverage
Coverage Needed: ASAP until permanent physician is onboarded
Call Ratio: 1:6
Average Daily Patients: 10 in clinic, 12–15 inpatient admissions
Documentation System: EPIC
Supervision:
May oversee up to 4 APCs
Patient Demographic:
Adult/Geriatric
Procedures:
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Advanced Heart Failure management (LVAD experience required)

Requirements
Board-Certified in Cardiology
Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship with LVAD experience
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification
ACLS Certification
Active VA License
DEA License
Must be a local provider (mileage reimbursed)
Clean malpractice and background
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
