We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to provide expert care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for a physician with a strong interest in acute and chronic pain management, who is passionate about delivering holistic, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pain management and palliative care consultations for pediatric patients across a range of diagnoses, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PICU, Hospital Medicine, NICU, PM&R, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, and the Fetal Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized pain treatment plans.
- Support patients and families in goals of care conversations, complex decision-making and symptom management.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in pediatric pain management and palliative care.
