About the Position
Locum Jobs Online is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Infectious Disease MD in Virginia!
We are seeking a board-certified Infectious Disease Doctor for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Feb 9, 2026. This opportunity features hospital-based inpatient rounding with day shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, and call coverage from 7am to 7am.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive inpatient care in Infectious Disease
Conduct hospital rounds and manage infectious disease cases
Participate in call coverage as scheduled
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care
Adhere to hospital policies and best practices in infectious disease management
Additional Information
Must be board certified in Infectious Disease
Valid Virginia medical license required
